Random List of Observations

• Periodically flocks of green parrots fly by squawking
• Coconuts are part of the detritus on the side of the sidewalks
• People pay each other by direct bank transfer through their bank's app - so easy
• Your choices for fresh milk in the dairy aisle are as follows: 2%
• Like everywhere but the United States, they sell a lot of shelf stable milk unrefrigerated.  This is where you find other milk varieties, like skim milk.  It took us a while to figure that out. I can't tell if the fresh milk is extra delicious, or if it's just been a while since we had 2%
• A tiny shiny green/blue beetle the size and shape of a ladybug landed on my forearm this morning
• Eating out is pretty reasonable, we paid $38 for lunch for 4 at a sit down restaurant, and $65 for dinner at a pub smack in downtown San Jose, including beers and desert. 
• Tiny geckos! Smaller than your pinkie finger.
