Poor Vivian, endless errands like setting up bank accounts is not the funnest thing for a 13 year old! So, the kitties have gotten lots of love:

We had an awesome dinner at RePUBlica - a beer brewery/pizza/biergarten type place near our apartment in downtown San Jose. Vivian is drinking a pineapple Fresa - which is kinda like a smoothie but with fresh fruit and WAY lower in sugar than a smoothie would be in the States. Le encanta!
We visited Vivian's school this week, Pan American School and picked up a book and a welcome packet. She starts tomorrow online. I'm sure she is thrilled to begin to have something to do other than wait for us to talk through some logistical thing or other...
When we leave, we always take the stairs and Vivian always takes the elevator... So, she beats us down most of the time and puts on her "I'm So Cool Waitin' for you Punks" Swagger while she waits.
This works 90% of the time, except when we have forgotten to tell her that we are walking to our destination and she's waiting by the car while we wait for her outside. Whoops!
